What kind of vehicles can I list with Mobii?
OperationsBefore starting the listing process, check that your vehicle meets Mobii’s eligibility requirements for listing in the Philippines.
Vehicle type and registration
You should have an eligible passenger vehicle, or motorcycle, located in the Philippines registered with the Land Transportation Office, registered under the name of the host or to an owner who validly issued a duly executed Special Power of Attorney in favor of the host to list their vehicle/s specifically under Mobii and meets all the legal requirements as provided under Philippine laws.
The vehicle must have a permanent LTO issued licensed plates, or a validly issued conduction sticker for those vehicles whose licensed plates are pending release with the LTO.
Vehicle condition
Not older than 2010 model, except for those registered as vintage/classic cars or “special type vehicles”.
Have fewer than 300,000 km.
You must maintain your vehicle and continue to meet our maintenance and safety standards as your vehicle ages.
Once listed, vehicles that reach or exceed 200,000 km mileage may remain listed if they’re in excellent condition, and continue to meet all legal, safety, and mechanical standards as set and approved by Mobii.
Have a clean (e.g., not a “branded” or “salvage”)
Host and car owners shall be solely responsible for knowing your vehicle’s title history.
Have never been declared a total loss.
Vehicle insurance
The vehicle to be listed must have at least a Comprehensive mandatory insurance as required by LTO.
Hosts are free to obtain additional insurance coverage for purposes of offering for rent and listing their vehicles in the Mobii platform.
Additionally, the hosts may likewise impose a security deposit in lieu of insurance as a condition to book their vehicle, which shall be held in trust by Mobii until the end of the booking period.
Misrepresentation on vehicle information that if a host who shall misrepresent or provide false information about listing a vehicle in the Mobii platform shall be liable for a penalty of Php1,000.00 per violation, without prejudice to blocking his/her account in the platform.
